Construction Manager - Lead

Description

The role is responsible for managing delivery of specific areas or work packages, meeting KPIs for safety, quality, cost and programme. It involves working as part of the construction delivery team and building relationships with trade and sub‑contractors, internal and external colleagues and stakeholders.

• Provide support to the team in performance management, technical development, and coaching.
• Manage structure and fit‑out of a specific area/package, maintaining site conditions, programme, quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project package managers on programme and critical‑path work.
• Lead forecast look‑ahead meetings for the assigned area.
• Produce detailed planned‑vs‑actual reports and escalate deviations.
• Apply the project’s digital strategy and access construction information.
• Manage area close‑out, complying with QA/QC plans, ITPs and handover requirements.
• Cultivate effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Leverage the Centre of Excellence knowledge base and best practices.
• Drive business priorities in construction‑to‑production, digital, data, and responsible practices, supporting net‑zero carbon goals.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Possess relevant experience in the field.
