Coordinate with Great Lakes Region transportation leadership on resource planning, business development, and project execution.
Serve as a project manager on multi-discipline transportation design projects.
Lead strategic planning and build relationships with key client decision-makers, staying ahead of upcoming project advertisements and changes within client organizations.
Coordinate business development activities to support overall growth objectives, including project pursuits, client outreach, marketing, teaming arrangements, capture planning, proposal development and review, and interview preparation and delivery.
Monitor and control the department's annual operating budget.
Oversee department projects to ensure they meet agreed-upon scope, budget, and schedule.
Maintain and enhance existing client relationships, generate additional opportunities with current clients, and develop new clients. Monitor client satisfaction both internally and externally.
Coach, develop, and mentor staff, attracting and retaining highly talented transportation professionals.
Ensure department compliance with quality management and quality assurance practices.
Lead, assign, and review the work of the project delivery team, providing technical guidance and oversight for transportation project designs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing, presentation skills, public speaking, and problem-solving abilities.
