  • Troubleshooting: Address and resolve discrepancies between survey data and actual site conditions.
  • Data collection: Gather accurate measurements and record detailed field notes on access points, conduit paths, equipment locations, and routing within the ROW.
  • Oversee cable fiber optics for both aerial and underground scenarios.

  • This hybrid requires work in the field and in the office. Field work includes walking sites, climbing stairs, and engaging directly with teams and clients. Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and appropriate insurance.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and required auto insurance (mileage reimbursed at federal rate).
  • Open to field-based training and hybrid office/field schedule.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
  • Familiarity with local dig laws and permitting practices.
  • Working knowledge of fiber and coax engineering concepts
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Proficient using company software and tools for real-time data updates.
  • Physically able to walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, remove and replace vault lids, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to read and interpret maps, prints, and locate tickets.
  • Skilled in the use of Dynatel or equivalent utility locating equipment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; GIS and CAD experience preferred.
  • Experience with OSP or telecom construction preferred; knowledge of underground utilities a plus.
