Description

Shift work (days/afternoons/nights). When assigned on international opportunities.
Procure and track the status of components required for the refurbishment of assigned tools.
Implementing and maintaining key project support systems (i.e., configuration management, document management and change control systems) for the tooling department.
Responsible for reporting and suggesting resolution to any potential impacts to technical quality identified by the various tool manufactures and vendors.
OPEX Review - Assembling OPEX and assessing what changes should be incorporated in the future designs of Tooling and Equipment.
Identify potential work scopes and opportunities for growth.
Attend weekly discipline meetings and provide status updates for scheduled deliverables.
Responsible for preparing documents such as route sheets, test procedures, test reports, operation manuals, change requests and procuring components.
Prepare and deliver presentations related to tooling development and maintenance to clients, as required.
Responsible for the assigned project planning and scheduling activities.
Responsible for upholding the technical quality of the assigned scope.
Tool refurbishment to ensure tooling is ready prior to production use.
Performing assessments (and qualifications where needed) of mechanical tooling and components.
Responsible for site support and tool maintenance services.

Strong Interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team.
Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills.
Experience of supporting manufacturing or industrial/construction work would be an asset.
Professional Engineer designation from PEO, an asset.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with 2-4 years of practical experience.
Organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task/service orientated.
Previous experience with engineered tooling and Retube tooling is an asset.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks is considered an asset.
Organizational skills.
Experience working in a nuclear facility licensed in Canada would be an asset.
Analytical ability and effective decision making.
Situational awareness and effective problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to support complex and parallel technical projects.
Willing to travel to and potentially work at Project sites to meet project needs.
