The Senior Scheduling Engineer will support regional field teams with scheduling tools aligned with Ryan and industry best practices, maintain and update project schedules, monitor schedule health dashboards, and facilitate detailed and collaborative planning sessions with project teams, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders.
The position also involves leading peer‑review sessions on complex projects, capturing and analyzing completed schedule data for continuous improvement, providing internal communications, serving as a resource to construction teams, and working on special scheduling operations projects while staying current on industry developments.
- Assist and grow regional field teams using consistent scheduling tools (Ryan Process, Primavera P6).
- Update project schedules accurately and frequently as part of project teams.
- Monitor and interpret schedule health dashboards and performance reports.
- Facilitate detailed planning sessions at regional offices or job sites.
- Lead collaborative planning with project teams, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders for sequencing, manpower, and durations.
- Conduct peer‑review sessions on complex or high‑profile projects.
- Capture and analyze completed schedule data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide periodic internal communications via intranet, training, and meetings.
- Serve as a resource for construction teams and contribute to special scheduling operations projects.
- Stay current with mission‑critical construction scheduling developments and share knowledge.

Candidates must have at least eight years of construction experience, including five years in planning and scheduling mission‑critical projects, a bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred, strong knowledge of Primavera P6 (and 4D scheduling or MS Project a plus), and expertise in schedule delay analysis and critical‑path methods. Excellent communication, leadership, self‑starting initiative, and the ability to travel up to 50% are required.
- Minimum 8 years construction experience, with at least 5 years in mission‑critical project planning and scheduling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6; familiarity with 4D scheduling software and MS Project a plus.
- Deep understanding of schedule delay analysis and critical‑path time extensions.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to resolve scheduling issues.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and ability to train, mentor, and motivate others.
- Ability to travel up to 50% and walk job sites to assess progress.
- Positive attitude, disciplined work ethic, and proactive problem‑solving.
