Responsible for the design of process and related mechanical utility (PMU) systems as an individual contributor and possibly with oversight of a project team.

Experience with frontend loading (FEL) or similar stage gate engineering approaches.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other related discipline from an ABETaccredited institution.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with both clients and project team members, with a strong customer service attitude.
Experience with oilseed processing, food plants, or RNG is a plus.
Knowledge of design codes, standards, and best practices applicable to PMU systems including but not limited to NFPA and ASME.
Experience in the development of technical documents pertaining to PMU systems including but not limited to, design memorandums, mass & energy balance, flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams, and equipment specifications.
Must be able to travel regionally, conduct short overnight trips, or other.
Education & Experience
Strong planning and organizational skills.
5+ years of relevant design experience, preferably within the design services industry.
