The Director of Construction leads the construction management team, oversees project safety, quality, budget and schedule, collaborates with senior leadership on strategic plans, and ensures compliance with safety, environmental and nuclear regulations throughout project execution.
- Select, manage and mentor the construction management team to meet safety, quality, budget and schedule goals.
- Ensure project safety, quality standards and environmental programs are consistently applied.

- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect project delivery.
- Work with estimating and cost‑control teams to meet budget forecasts and support opportunity estimates.
- Develop hiring plans, provide mentorship and succession planning for construction managers and supervisors.
- Direct performance management, training and career development for project personnel.
- Manage fiscal responsibilities within project policies and interact with clients, suppliers, unions and partners.

- Minimum 20 years of construction leadership experience, preferably on large‑scale EPC and nuclear projects.
- Proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of self‑perform trades, estimating and employee‑relations, including union agreements.
- Experience in the nuclear industry and deep understanding of nuclear quality‑assurance programs.
- Ability to lead multicultural teams and manage project execution, financial operations and employee relations.
- Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution and maintaining confidentiality.
- Willingness to work across field and office settings and travel as required.
- Ability to pass comprehensive background and security clearance; nuclear power clearance preferred.
