Associate Director, Project Controls, Infrastructure

Description

The role is an Associate Director level Project Controls position within the expanding Infrastructure business, responsible for end‑to‑end service delivery on large, complex and mega‑projects.

• Deliver end‑to‑end project controls services for large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Establish and monitor contract success criteria, including time, cost and performance parameters.
• Implement effective project governance, processes and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and coordinate inputs from a cross‑functional project controls team in a matrix environment.
• Maintain the risk register and evaluate risk components and variations against performance objectives.
• Apply performance management techniques and KPIs to improve project outcomes.
• Manage change control processes and advise on project finances.
• Oversee the flow of project information within the team and serve as the primary client interface.
• Support the Centre of Expertise in developing and delivering PMO project controls services.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards, are completed on time and within budget, and align with client objectives.

Requirements

• Hold a relevant technical degree and management qualifications with experience in planning, scheduling and cost management.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk management, change control, information management and reporting on complex projects.
• Proficient with proprietary cost management systems such as Prism and Unifier and with Primavera P6.
• Ability to mentor and develop a team of specialists, providing training for junior staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
