As an Engineer‑In‑Training for Water Resources, you will work on large, multi‑discipline projects that build a diverse engineering skill set, collaborating with project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Perform waterline, pumping, storage, source development, sewer collection, and hydrology/hydraulic design for municipal or local agency projects.
- Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water, sewer, and H&H projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to deliver project outcomes.
- Take ownership of project tasks from initiation through completion.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and offices.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
- 0–4+ years of civil design experience; entry‑level candidates considered.
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
- Willingness to work on local projects or in collaboration with other offices.
- Proven ability to meet project deadlines and budgets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and management.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, with strong organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
- Hydraulics and water/sewer experience is a plus.
