Ensure MinRes operates in accordance with legal and regulatory frameworks, through regular review and improvement of policies, processes and procedures for tenement acquisition and compliance.
Support the wider Land Access team, as required, including in the management of Wardens Court proceedings.
Collaborate with Strategic Planning, Exploration and Geology and Business Development teams to develop and execute tenement application and divestment strategies for existing and greenfield sites.
Oversee MinRes’ portfolio of mining and petroleum tenements in compliance with relevant legislation and business strategy.
Maintain an accurate and comprehensive tenement database, and associated tenement management and reporting systems.
Ensure accurate and timely execution of compliance actions in accordance with the Mining, Petroleum and Land Administration and other relevant legislation; including, managing expenditure monitoring and reporting, and the lodgement of statutory documentation to support extension of terms, transfers, surrenders, caveats and mortgages.

Extensive experience in managing tenements pursuant to Western Australian Mining and Petroleum legislation
Project management skills and an aptitude for managing competing priorities
Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver results while working on multiple tasks with tight timeframes
Prior experience with tenement management and compliance systems (for example, LandTracker, Expenditure Watch, ERP, GIS systems, or similar)
Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
Tertiary Qualification in a related discipline is desirable
Excellent working knowledge of the Mining Act, Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Resources Act and Land Administration Act as they apply to mining and petroleum tenure in Western Australia
An outcomes-orientated problem solver, with proven negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
