This position performs a variety of engineering work in the initial planning and design phase of equipment, systems, or processes. Specifications are prepared, and necessary subcontracts and requisitions are defined. The candidate has thorough knowledge of own subject area or discipline and basic knowledge of others. He/she understands the objectives of the area and related regulatory and/or industry requirements and practices. Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects.

- PE preferred
- Bilingual language Preferred
- 5-15 years of Experience (Industrial and Manufacturing related design preferred)
- Demonstrates advanced ability to work with various engineering software packages in standalone or network configurations
- Knowledge of NEC and NFPA Recommended Practices
- Some travel required (Irregular +/-20%)
- Demonstrates advanced level of proficiency in technical subjects
- Experience with Hazardous Gas Detection and Alarm Systems
- Possesses advanced technical skills and understanding of interdisciplinary design processes
- Knowledge of Grounding Practices
- Experience with Transformer & Generator Sizing / Specifications including Medium Voltage Distribution Systems
- Experience delivering projects utilizing Autodesk Revit and AutoCad
- Knowledge of Hazardous Area Classification and Best Practices
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university required
- Demonstrates ability to lead and direct project personnel
- Experience with a focus on medium and low voltage power systems
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
- Experience with power systems analysis software (SKM PowerTools, Easy Power, or ETAP)
- Experience with industrial instrumentation specifications and process control systems
- Experience in design and installation of electrical equipment in industrial and manufacturing plant environments
- Experience with Low-Voltage Control Systems ie: Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, Data/Telecommunication Systems, Building Automation/Management Systems.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload for self and others
- Experience with Lighting Design and Lighting Control Systems
