You will manage the development of options to resolve strategic issues important to the business unit and coordinate the implementation of selected solutions. This position bridges operational interests with corporate strategy across multiple functional areas.
Key responsibilities include managing a coordinated decision process that represents operational interests in outage scheduling, energy marketing, fuels, regulatory impacts, and portfolio management. You will lead the creation and review of standardized operational procedures, policies, monitoring, and reporting to drive generation asset operational excellence. Accountability for implementing and tracking root‑cause analysis results across operational organizations is essential.
A minimum of fifteen years of power plant or energy generation experience is required, with a preferred bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of generating asset operations, maintenance, safety, key performance indicators, outage planning, energy market interface, and regulatory issues, as well as proven project management and leadership capabilities.
