Review and disposition first article inspection reports for new suppliers or for first-time builds with existing suppliers, verifying conformance to drawings, tolerances, performance criteria, and documentation standards.
Support supplier onboarding of new suppliers by ensuring clear communication of specifications, drawings, inspection requirements, and quality performance expectations.
Evaluate supplier nonconformances identified during receiving inspection or assembly operations and implement timely containment and disposition actions. Drive thorough root cause analysis and verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
Escalate critical supplier risks, including repeated quality issues, lack of improvement, or signs of deteriorating supplier performance.
Ensure process documentation, measurement systems, and control plans are in place for critical suppliers and effective throughout supplier manufacturing operation.
Monitor and analyze supplier nonconformance data, identifying trends, recurring defects, and opportunities to reduce the cost of poor quality. Facilitate supplier review meetings covering performance scorecards, risks, and improvement plans.
Act as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal engineering and quality teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements to suppliers. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement to address design-for-manufacturability topics, clarify specifications, and resolve technical issues that impact supplier performance.
Perform on-site audits to evaluate potential or existing suppliers and provide approval recommendations to the Supplier Quality Manager and Procurement teams. Assess their quality system maturity, and validate the supplier’s manufacturing capabilities, and their ability to comply with company and industry standards.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in root cause analysis and capable of identifying effective corrective actions.
3 - 7 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality engineering.
Able to travel domestically and internationally (10–30%).
Capability to read and understand mechanical/electrical drawings.
Excellent communication skills, capable of building effective supplier relationships
Knowledge or Experience in metal fabrication, welding, pressure testing, mechanical testing, electrical assemblies, hardware, or data center infrastructure (preferred).
