- Perform engineering tasks using standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Apply judgment to develop work details and preliminary engineering alternatives.
- Conduct design calculations and analysis for specialty foundations such as helical piles, drilled shafts, micropiles, rock and soil anchors, and driven piles.
- Prepare preliminary foundation designs for project bidding.
- Work under supervision of senior-level team members.

- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; EIT eligibility preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain high organization and effective teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Inventor, LPILE, GROUP, SAP2000, RISA 3D, Enercalc, or MathCAD (preferred).
- Knowledge of design standards such as ASCE, IBC, ACI, AISC, FHWA, AASHTO, NESC, ASTM (preferred).
