The Senior Analyst, External Reporting role reports to the Senior Manager, External Reporting, based in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, with hybrid remote options. The position supports the preparation of SEC filings, quarterly and annual financial statements, earnings releases, press releases and other financial reporting projects.
Responsibilities include preparing sections of quarterly and annual reports, proxy statements and registration statements for timely SEC filing, assisting with earnings releases and presentations, conducting financial account analyses, researching US GAAP in the Accounting Standards Codification, and supporting acquisition‑related accounting.
The analyst also drafts internal accounting policies, provides US GAAP guidance to business units, maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of accounting standards, assists with internal controls, Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance, audit coordination, and participates in process‑improvement initiatives and special projects.
Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, ACCA/ACA/CIMA/ICAEW certification, and three to five years of relevant experience, preferably in public accounting or a multinational corporate accounting group, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Preferred skills include strong knowledge of business processes, internal controls, US GAAP, and experience with OneStream or Workiva.
