Assistant Finishes Manager

Description

The role supports projects in delivering agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality requirements by coordinating with all relevant parties. Responsibilities include assisting the project team with objectives, monitoring health, safety and wellbeing standards, updating project plans, managing quality systems, recording meetings, participating in risk management, tracking changes, preparing handover documentation, supporting client appointments, conducting research and analysis, solving defined issues, and contributing to net‑zero carbon transition.

• Support project delivery within agreed time, cost, and quality targets.
• Monitor health, safety and wellbeing standards throughout all project stages.
• Assist in preparing, modifying and updating project plans.
• Ensure robust quality systems are managed and monitored.
• Attend and record meetings, providing contextual analysis and site walk reports.
• Partner with stakeholders in risk management and mitigation.
• Track project changes and ensure formalisation within agreed timeframes.
• Provide handover documentation prior to practical completion.
• Support external/third‑party client appointments and programme management activities.
• Conduct research, analysis and record‑keeping to supply timely project information.
• Identify and solve issues that require problem‑solving.
• Contribute to net‑zero carbon transition by managing associated emissions.

Requirements
