Develop and maintain C++ mission software on Linux for aerospace systems.

Tasks

-Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software discrepancies. -Design, code, and unit test new software capabilities according to Mathematical Algorithm Requirements. -Collaborate with subject matter experts and Sr. staff engineers across multiple software subsystems. -Perform as a C++ software developer in a fast-paced agile team environment utilizing Red Hat Enterprise Linux VMs, servers, and workstations.

What You Bring

-Strong skills in mathematics and algorithms. -Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 0-2 years of experience, a Master's degree, or a PhD in a STEM discipline. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. -Familiarity with programming/scripting languages. -Active SCI security clearance. -Experience with Agile scrum teams or the Agile process. -Experience with DevSecOps and test automation. -Experience developing in a Linux environment using git. -Active SSBI clearance required at the time of application and ability to obtain SCI prior to start. -Demonstrated problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills. -U.S. citizenship is required. -Proficiency in Object-Oriented programming and C++ programming. -Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite: Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo.
