As part of the Mechanical and Electrical division of the Technical Professional Organization, the intern will work closely with the Mechanical project team to design building mechanical systems such as chilled and hot water networks, steam, ventilation, humidification, plumbing, purified water, medical gases, and laboratory services.
Responsibilities include performing discipline calculations, preparing technical drawings and specifications, writing feasibility studies and concept reports, estimating construction, maintenance and operational costs, participating in construction supervision and on‑site inspections, and providing support to senior technical staff and project managers.
The Building Mechanical team in Québec is seeking motivated talents for a Summer 2026 internship, offering collaboration within an efficient BIM environment on large‑scale projects across healthcare, education, industrial, and public infrastructure sectors.
Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in building engineering, be registered or in process with the OIQ, have relevant experience through internships or organizations like ASHRAE, possess knowledge of Revit MEP (asset), demonstrate strong teamwork, and be proficient in French.
