The operator will run a variety of earth‑moving equipment—such as bobcats, bulldozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, rollers, and graders—to move earth precisely, inspect equipment, follow safety protocols, and respond to signalers. They will assess the work area for hazards, plan operations, and assist with other site tasks when not operating equipment.
The Dirt Equipment Operator role requires at least two years of heavy‑industrial construction experience, the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities, and the ability to meet all physical requirements. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the required tools. The position does not have any direct reports.
Physical demands include extensive standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lb, working at heights, and performing duties in all weather conditions while wearing required PPE. Zachry provides a safe, drug‑free, equal‑opportunity work environment.
