Description

• Organizes items being moved to efficiently utilize available space while loading and unloading vehicles.
• Carefully and efficiently packs items to prevent damage while moving.
• Breaks down and sets up furniture items based on customer needs.
• Moves and arranges heavy pieces of office and household furniture, equipment, and appliances.
• Provides exceptional customer service while safely moving, packing, and unpacking customer belongings.
• Individual(s) will be responsible for loading, unloading & transporting office equipment/furniture & dispositioning items to locations in the National Capital region.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand, sit, reach, bend and walk for long periods of time.
• Must have a minimum of a HS or GED.
• Must be willing to work in all types of weather.
• Must be a US Citizen with ability to pass a thorough background and credit check to be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Public Trust security clearance.
• Must demonstrate reliability and punctuality.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have no criminal history.
• Must be able to lift and carry 80 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
