- Lead complex roadway and highway design projects from preliminary to detailed design.
- Apply Ontario Ministry of Transportation, municipal, and TAC standards and codes.

The Principal Engineer role on the Roads + Highways team in Ontario is technically focused and targets delivery of major roadway and highway projects. The position requires deep expertise in roadway design, project delivery, and thorough knowledge of provincial and municipal standards. The engineer will lead technical execution from urban improvements to provincial highway corridors, emphasizing quality, innovation, and efficient design. Proficiency with design software and multidisciplinary coordination is essential for success.
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s a plus); P.Eng. licensed in Ontario.
- Minimum 15 years progressive road/highway engineering experience on MTO or large municipal projects.
- MTO RAQS certification and strong relationships with MTO/municipal clients.
- Expertise in roadway geometry, grading, pavement design, staging, and roadside safety.
- Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong technical writing for reports and contract documents.
- Collaborative team player able to coordinate across disciplines.
- Familiarity with Class EA, DBB, DB, and P3 delivery models.
