Prepare and review engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents in accordance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
Lead the design, development, and implementation of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities (water and wastewater), stormwater systems, and other public infrastructure.
Provide oversight and technical guidance to junior engineers and staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project standards.
Support business development efforts by assisting with proposal preparation, client presentations, and identifying new opportunities for municipal projects.
Participate in public meetings, presentations, and client communications to provide updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Track project progress and milestones, reporting status to clients and senior management.
Stay current on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting municipal infrastructure.
Assist in developing and managing project-specific plans for quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) to ensure that all work meets project standards and specifications.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permitting requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with clients, municipalities, and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Coordinate and manage project teams, including sub-consultants and contractors, to ensure all project objectives are met.
Conduct site assessments, field inspections, and evaluations of existing infrastructure to inform project design and scope.

5-10 years of experience in civil engineering municipal design.
Experience with State of Tennessee agencies, Knoxville area agencies, and TDOT is a plus.
Proven ability and strong desire to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
Experience in roadway geometric design, intersection detail design, water main design, sanitary sewer design, and drainage design.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
OHM Grad School
Tennessee PE license preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in municipal infrastructure engineering.
Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
