DevOps Technical Lead

Description

In this role you will lead the design and maintenance of automation frameworks, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, oversee AWS cloud resources including Lambda, enforce security and compliance, and drive operational excellence across the platform.

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and frameworks for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Build and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and integrate automated testing.
• Deploy, support, and optimize AWS Lambda functions and related cloud resources for high availability and cost efficiency.
• Implement security best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize Jira for project management, issue tracking, and workflow automation.
• Monitor system health, perform root cause analysis, and resolve infrastructure incidents.
• Provide technical mentorship to a team of three DevOps engineers and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Leverage AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFormation, IAM, IoT Core) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) to architect solutions.
• Develop scripts in Python and Bash; use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
• Apply security tools such as GitLeak, Mend.io, Wiz.io, Orca, GuardDuty, and enforce least‑privilege and zero‑trust designs.

Requirements

We are looking for a DevOps Technical Lead with more than 10 years of hands‑on experience in automation, cloud infrastructure for IoT environments, and CI/CD pipeline management. The ideal candidate thrives in fast‑paced, collaborative SaaS settings, solves complex operational challenges, and enjoys mentoring junior engineers.

Required qualifications include 8‑10 years of DevOps experience, deep expertise with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, IAM, IoT Core), infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), scripting in Python/Bash, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and preferably certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.

• Hold 8–10 years of DevOps experience, a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT, and preferably certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or CKAD.
