Survey Technician

Description

• Perform selected drafting assignments quickly and accurately.
• Transform field‑collected electronic files into Autodesk Civil 3D drawings.
• Produce ALTA, boundary, topographic surveys, as‑built drawings, maps, specific‑purpose surveys, plot plans, and subdivision record plats using Civil 3D.
• Reduce field notes into survey/civil grade base maps.
• Conduct LiDAR calibration, classification, and quality control.
• Process aerial imagery photogrammetrically.

• Minimum 2+ years experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Experience in Survey/Civil profession required.
• OpenRoads Designer experience required.
• Railroad and/or DOT experience preferred.
• Laser scanning/LiDAR experience a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for job communications.

Compensation ranges from $25.14 to $29.90 per hour, depending on qualifications.
