The Product Line Manager will oversee a portfolio of concrete admixtures aimed at enhancing durability, long‑term performance, and resistance to environmental deterioration. Acting as both technical and commercial leader, the role shapes strategy, guides product development, and supports market adoption by translating customer and specification requirements into product improvements.
The manager drives product line strategy, new product development, launches, marketing communications, partnerships, sales enablement, and supply‑chain coordination, working closely with R&D, sales, technical services, supply chain, and marketing teams.
The role is primarily based in a professional office setting with standard equipment and software, but also involves occasional in‑person customer interactions and collaboration across departments and external clients.
- Design and execute product line strategy, positioning, value propositions, and technology roadmaps; secure approvals for annual marketing plans and identify new opportunities.
- Lead cross‑functional new product and solution development projects, creating integrated plans and business cases, overseeing lifecycle from concept to commercialization.
- Drive end‑to‑end product launches, ensuring cross‑functional alignment and communication of features, positioning, and value.
- Collaborate with Communications Manager to design marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and high‑quality sales tools; represent the product line at industry events.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships and value‑added programs to enhance market presence and differentiate offerings.
- Support sales development and training by creating and delivering product‑based value propositions.
- Work with supply chain to forecast demand, monitor availability, and optimize inventory to meet customer requirements.

The position requires up to 40 % travel, varying throughout the year based on project needs and customer engagement.
The job involves prolonged sitting, computer work, and occasional lifting of items up to 10 pounds, as well as typical office movements such as bending, reaching, and standing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Construction Management, or related technical field (required).
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS) or specialized training in construction or engineering preferred; additional experience may substitute.
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction or concrete admixture industry, preferably in sales, marketing, or R&D.
- Experience with concrete durability, cement chemistry, or performance testing strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of concrete behavior, durability mechanisms, admixture interactions, and relevant standards (ASTM, ACI, AASHTO).
- Analytical mindset with ability to evaluate performance data, market trends, and cost structures.
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized with capability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, Salesforce, and data tools is a plus.
- Customer‑focused approach with practical application mindset for performance‑driven products.
- Strong leadership abilities with a record of successfully managing product or project teams.
