Responsible for successful execution of the engineering and related downstream activities for the overall CM&U order/project.
Complete project closeout activities including gathering feedback and data to support continuous improvement.
Integrate with Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing and Sourcing, Vendors, Service Shops and other teams as necessary to ensure a successful project.
Provide timely and accurate responses to technical inquiries using technical files (such as Design Data, Previous Reports, etc.), personal experience/knowledge and information from other technical experts as necessary.
Ensure timely demand placement of parts designed and defined by engineering teams.
Support other team members both domestically and globally.
Provide appropriate solutions to developing technical issues arising during CM&U project.
Keep attention to the overall project schedule and budgeted hours. Address and correct deviations as they arise.
Utilize standardized tools and process to set up project structure within different GE systems.
Create and coordinate the overall engineering and drafting deliverable schedule using Enovia PLM software. Manage changes over the lifecycle of the project to ensure timely delivery to support parts delivery, outage activities, or other downstream work.
Responsible for interpreting customer needs and defining the parts scope of supply and input for cost and cycle for assigned technical proposals
Provides technical expertise and develops technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the ITO (Inquiry to Order) process while interfacing with the commercial and sales teams. This includes a technical analysis of client need: definition and optimization of the products; scope; schedule; industrial scheme; cost, considering contract and internal policies and procedures.
