Ensure Company Wide Authority Matrix (CWAM) compliance and adherence with proposal process procedures such as: Opportunity Process Procedure,
Responsible for budget, schedule, and quality of assigned proposals.
Collaborate with the sales manager and project management to develop and implement the proposal win strategy.
Lead proposal development from assignment to contract signing.
Coordinate scope development and/or technical review of RFP.
Understand risks and ensure mitigation is set and documented and ensuring the current version of the department R&O/Risk Register is utilized.
Drive collaboration between pursuit team members and other shareholders.
Drive review of Risk Register by Project Manager and Project Director, taking into consideration Solution and Client Segment perspective.
Ensure project management participation in proposal process (project execution plan, scope review, risk mitigation, commercial terms, etc.).
Participate in Bid/No Bid or Screenings when requested by Proposal Leaders.
Develop and manage overall proposal schedule, maintain and direct-action items.
Facilitate proposal kick-off meeting and status meetings.
Determine which roles are required for pursuit team and identify professionals to support.
Develop proposal budget needs based on scope and with team input as warranted, utilizing current version of department template. Analyze against financial metrics and request budget. Monitor budget, communicate budget status to team, and close proposal budgets at time of submittal and again at re-submittal if reopened for BAFO/Shortlist/Price Refresh efforts.
Ensure accountability across your team; meet deadlines and drive schedule to achieve delivery requirements.
Continually evaluate risks of the project based on known and unknown information in collaboration with the team.
