- Will be required to maintain quality standards established for the process.
- Will be required to manually load parts and unload assembled chambers.
- Will be required to use measuring devices and record fractional and decimal equivalents.
- Will be required to perform changeovers and make minor adjustments to equipment as needed.
- As assigned, may be required to perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
- Will be required to ensure proper operation of a forming press that joins the arrestor plate and damper pan to the skirt.
- Will be required to make minor repairs and assist maintenance with major repairs to equipment.
- Must observe all departmental safety requirements.

- Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to; add, subtract, divide, and multiply whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Use and application of measurement instruments, including ruler, scale, and tape.
- Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs.
- Experience or training in the interpretation of blueprints and/or manufacturing drawings.

- Frequent strain due to position and unsupported lifting.
- Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- As assigned, required to discern out of tolerance conditions using fractional and decimal equivalents.
- Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs.
- Must be able to work from written or verbal instructions.
- Required to operate a portable tilter to move bins of parts into position.
