The HVAC Services Technician II troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, and installs HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical components and equipment. This role manages service projects and small jobs from start to completion, ensuring total customer satisfaction throughout.
- Install and commission a wide variety of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment such as atmospheric boilers and water‑cooled chillers.
- Service and repair energy recovery ventilators, hydronic AHUs, and FCUs.
- Maintain clear communication with customers on and off job sites.
- Assist with inventory and tool procurement for the service vehicle.
- Promote and follow all company safety procedures and policies.
- Maintain experience with chillers, boilers, pumps, AHUs, and related equipment.
- Work safely on ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, or poles.
- Navigate tight and confined spaces and adjust body positions as required.
- Remain stationary (kneeling, standing, or sitting) for extended periods.
- Perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, or fingers.
- Operate machinery, power tools, and motor vehicles.
- Work in low and high indoor temperature environments.
- Operate outdoors in various weather conditions such as precipitation, heat, cold, and wind.
- Perform tasks in noisy environments.
- Handle medium‑weight objects up to 50 pounds.

- Troubleshoot mechanical systems using strong diagnostic skills.
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
- Be detail‑oriented and handle multiple ongoing projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Understand the industry and the company’s competitors.
- Hold a current licensed technician status or verifiable experience with commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- possess an EPA certification.
- Hold OSHA 10 or 30‑hour certification.
- Travel to job sites or the office 0–5 % of the time.
