As manufacturing and As-built document preparation
Develop and maintain standardized parameterization procedures for substation automation equipment to optimize performance and interoperability.
Integrate intelligent electronic devices (IEDs), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), and human-machine interface (HMI) systems to enable remote monitoring and control capabilities
Develop and configure communication networks and protocols, such as IEC 61850, IEC60870-5-101/103/104, DNP3, OPC and Modbus TCI/IP to facilitate seamless data exchange and interoperability
Coordination with suppliers and material selection
Responsible for preparation & approval of engineering document like FDS, System Architecture, Signal List, Bill of Materials, General Arrangements (internal & external), Panel heat load calculation, IP List, communication cable list.
The design, engineering and implementation of substation automation systems to optimize monitoring, control, and protection functions within electrical substations.
Stay updated with industry standards and technological advancements in substation automation design and implementation
Preparation of Testing & Commissioning documents such as FAT, SAT, Test Reports, and Schedule Plans.
Remote support to site T&C team for successful commissioning of substation automation system.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient parameterization of substation automation systems

Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
Work experience on GE make substation automation tools DS Agile, DS Agile Substation Gateway, EnerVista (launchpad & viewpoint monitoring) is must.
OS and Tools: Windows, PC Applications, PC communication, serial/ IP networking.
Experience in IO Mapping with respect to the scheme drawings/troubleshoot of database issues in SAS system / RTU based system. (Know-how) Develop and maintain standardized parameterization procedures for substation automation equipment to optimize performance and interoperability
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
Enjoys working in Team environments, Exhibits collaboration in multiple stake holder interactions. Adaptive and eager to learn and work on new technologies.
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in substation automation design, engineering and configuration.
Excellent Communication (Both written & verbal) & Inter-personal Skills.
Willingness to travel as the role demands a minimum of 40-50% travel overseas & India.
Proficiency in software systems such as Substation automation system, HMI development, and networking protocols
Knowledge of PC Networking, switch, router, GPS, Firewall, Cyber Security
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Enjoys learning new things and build knowledge base in new area.
Work experience on Hitachi substation automation system, Creation of MicroSCADA SYS600 database and gateway configuration, Integrated Engineering Tool – IET600, Integrated Testing Tool - ITT600, PCM600 is must
