Support the development of new business pursuits and bids. Lead the compilation of tender documents for clients and critically review tender returns, contract negotiations, award of contracts and client reporting;
Manage project resourcing, sub-consultants, program, contracts and scope change to achieve positive project outcomes;
Provide sound and effective leadership to the team, provide direction and advice, lead by example to achieve company goals and champion a quality culture;
Lead and manage Arcadis and Joint Venture teams in the delivery of projects to meet client requirements for cost, time and quality;
Drive project performance, service delivery, technical coordination and commercial outcomes;
Implement and manage financial and project controls to enable effective monitoring and forecasting of project finances;
Maintain an overview of the commercial aspects of the team’s portfolio of projects and drive project performance, service delivery and commercial outcomes. Ensure that effective financial and project management controls are in place and deployed to enable monitoring, modification and forecasting as appropriate;
Undertake project reviews and ensure that client delivery is above expectation. Work to ensure maximum client satisfaction, champion client care and proactively work with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes;
Ensure risks are proactively identified, assessed and managed to avoid adverse impacts on projects;
Communicating effectively with all stakeholders to ensure that all parties are kept informed on all relevant matters;

Experience of managing projects in a consultancy environment for both government and contractor clients, with a broad exposure to different forms of contract.
A sound commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures and a demonstratable ability to take commercial responsibility for projects.
Hold a recognised degree or equivalent qualification relating to a technical field: Engineering or Project Management, construction management or Architecture.
Established relationships with existing clients in the civil infrastructure sector in Victoria. In addition, relationships with clients in the water and energy sectors are highly desirable.
Must be eligible to work in Australia.
