Support and occasionally lead the ongoing review and development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR Governance Program, participate in determining priorities, and independently lead aspects of the program.
Develop, guide, and support training and reporting programs related to governance topics, including investigative procedures and the use of technology tools like Workday and Office 365 to enhance policy application.
Work with internal and external parties to ensure compliance with HR governance processes, procedures, and applicable legislative or legal requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to assist with and provide guidance on compliance-related projects, reviews, and initiatives.
Liaise between HR, Legal, Compliance and Governance teams for cross-functional governance efforts.
Support and lead aspects of a governance communication program that promotes awareness and understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance issues across the organization.
Lead various initiatives and projects that contribute to the general operation and effectiveness of the HR Governance Program.
Conduct periodic reviews to verify adherence to compliance procedures, identify areas of vulnerability and risk, and develop corrective action plans with guidance to prevent recurrence.
