The Role

Overview

Provide 1st line support for datacenter equipment, monitor TPCMS, on‑call 24/7.

Tasks

-Configuration and replacement of datacentre equipment such as Cisco and Juniper firewalls, Cisco switches, Cisco and Dell server hosts whilst maintaining system operation. -Support the transition of the TPCMS service to other parties by aiding the development and training needs of candidates. -Provide both on-site and on-call support capacity for TPCMS with an ability to travel throughout the UK. -Proactively monitor the availability, performance, and security of TPCMS as part of a 24x7 team. -Address TPCMS issues either by resolving the issue or assigning to internal staff (engineers) or external providers (such as suppliers of equipment) to resolution. -Proactively engage with all members of the System Management Team to support a continuous improvement program for TPCMS and the service provided with the customer. -Ensure all Service Level Agreement targets are exceeded.

-McAfee SIEM Security - Security Information Events Management knowledge -Vendor certification of the following would be beneficial: VMware, MS Windows System Support, Cisco knowledge – LAN / WAN, Juniper, IP Trade. -IT / ICT further education
