Work on a variety of small to large projects spanning from transportation, residential, commercial, and industrial developments as well as linear corridors and geohazard work
Manage projects and tasks with the assistance of 1 to 10 engineers.
Lead the preparation of and take responsibility for technical reports including geotechnical data reports, geotechnical baseline reports, field reports, technical memoranda, computation packages, feasibility reports, and design and evaluation reports.
Assist with feasibility studies by conducting research to assess challenges and develop solutions.
Mentor and train future leaders, including development of succession plans for key positions.
Conduct and supervise staff performing numerical analysis using programs such as FLAC, PLAXIS, Phase2, SEEP/W and SLOPE/W.

Oregon and/or Washington professional engineer license preferred, or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university; Master’s preferred.
Willing and able to travel to project sites regionally and occasionally nationally.
Understanding of multidisciplinary design teams with experience of collaborating across projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical skills are a must and experience serving on a technical board is an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment
Team building skills are essential for the candidate to meet the expectations of this position
