A bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering is required, with a preference for candidates pursuing or holding a master’s degree in structural engineering. Candidates should have 0‑2 years of experience and be eligible to sit for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam within six months of hire. Familiarity with structural software such as Microsoft Office, MathCAD, MicroStation, Open Bridge Designer, Enercalc, SAP2000, STAAD, and others is desirable, though motivation to learn is acceptable.
Professional growth is a core focus, with expectations to pursue PE registration, engage in local professional organizations, and attend training led by senior staff. You will increase proficiency in design software and seek continuing‑education opportunities to enhance the discipline’s collective ability. Leadership responsibilities include championing compliance with corporate standards and mentoring interns, designers, and technicians.
