- Support full program life cycles, including concept, specification, prototype, production, and sustainment.
- Create innovative ideas in support of internal research and development.
- Research and apply electrical engineering principles and theories to solve customer problems.
- Work cross-functionally across the organization including program management, procurement, operations, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, test, production, business development, and contracts.
- Lead teams of design engineers using established design and development process models such as CMMI or Six Sigma for Design.
- Create and update corporate and engineering processes and procedures.
- Support and lead systems engineering, software engineering, and mechanical engineering efforts.
- Create, review, and approve Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Requests for Variances (RFVs).
- Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to engineering and test staff.
- Generate and implement improvements in product design and test throughput.
- Interface directly with customers and suppliers to support technical issues.

- Prior experience with RF components.
- Bachelor of Science degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Familiarity with design and development process models such as CMMI or Six Sigma for Design.
- Knowledge of PCB projects, including design of the board, schematic, circuit, schematic capture, and CAD.
- Experience in military or defense-related projects.
