You must provide clear direction and guidance to the department, aligning team efforts with organizational goals.
You must communicate with other shifts leads and/or supervisor to ensure a smooth transition of tasks and job updates.
You will work directly with the supervisor and manufacturing team to ensure that customer orders are executed in a timely and efficient manner and that the most urgent orders are fulfilled first.
You will facilitate training and cross-training for associates to enhance knowledge and versatility.
You will review orders and associated documentation (drawings, travel documents, bills of material) as needed to ensure the team has the appropriate information to complete the job and to assist with troubleshooting problems with the order documentation.
You will lead Tier 1 meetings, work with the team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and make daily updates to Tier boards.
Conduct spot checks to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
You will contribute to a safe, engaged, and inclusive work culture by complying with all policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment, and performing and assigning 5S duties.
You will oversee production processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
You will act as a back-up Supervisor if needed, ensuring continuity in leadership and operations, assisting in interviewing candidates for your designated area, and providing feedback to associates regarding productivity, breaks, etc.

Prior work experience using a computer, including competence in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required.

High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution
Previous coordinator/team leader experience is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of manufacturing or materials processing experience required.
Must be able to learn from past experiences and apply learning to current situations
Incumbent must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting are inherent to this position.
Understanding of DMM, DMM Fabricated parts/ Kanban ordering process
Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without company sponsorship
You must have the ability to work with the coordinator and be able to complete coordinator tasks if needed.
