The Site Civil Engineer supports civil engineering projects from concept through construction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring design deliverables meet project goals and regulatory requirements.

Design site plans, grading, drainage, paving, and utilities.
Prepare stormwater management designs and reports meeting agency standards.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and architectural leads.
Assist in preparing specifications, contract documents, and procurement of approvals and permits.
Perform quantity take‑offs and cost estimates as needed.
Make engineering decisions on complex design procedures.
Contribute actively to HDR’s employee‑owned, inclusive culture.

Applicants should possess a relevant engineering degree, professional licensure, several years of civil‑site design experience, and proficiency with standard engineering software and office tools. Strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture are essential.
