SHOP LABORER

Description

• Follow all BCI, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
• Keep the shop, steam bay, and yard clean (trash, scrap, grass).
• Steam clean equipment and perform basic equipment maintenance as needed.
• Communicate equipment status and readiness to the foreperson.
• Maintain accurate records and handle paperwork promptly.
• Deliver intercompany mail and retrieve parts as directed.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lb.

Requirements

Branch Civil, Inc. is seeking an experienced, safety‑driven Equipment Operations Shop Laborer to join its well‑established, growing company. The role supports the shop by maintaining a clean, safe environment, handling equipment, and performing various support tasks. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional nights, weekends, or overnight stays.

The employee must follow all BCI, OSHA, and company safety policies, keep accurate records, communicate equipment status to the foreperson, and assist with mail and parts delivery. Required qualifications include basic iPad and Microsoft Office skills, a current driver’s license, and a good driving record. Physical demands involve standing, walking, using hands, reaching, and lifting or moving up to 50 lb, along with normal vision requirements.
