Advanced Failure Analysis and scientific problem solving
FEA, CFD, FMEA, DOE, QFD, and DFMA
Interpretation of statistics related to manufacturing processes and part design
A minimum of 8 years of experience to include significant manufacturing exposure as well as product development experience is required.
High proficiency in dealing with Ambiguity, especially early in projects, to convey critical information to team members and stakeholders.
Experience with International suppliers is preferred.
Collaborative problem-solving techniques
Written and verbal communication skills for dealing with multiple levels of staff, customers and suppliers.
Ability to effectively work with suppliers from different countries / cultures.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required (BSME).
Mechanical System Modeling Techniques
Ability and willingness to travel up to approximately 15% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
Proficiency in Spanish and/or Mandarin are beneficial but optional.
Use of engineering principles. i.e. fluid, mechanical and thermal
Understands the Product Development risks and mitigation plans.
Fluent in the use of 3-D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and PC’s.
