Laboratory Pre-Analytical Services Associate V

Description

• Assist lab staff with routine tasks to maintain workflow.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing records.
• Record patient demographics, consent forms, insurance details, and collection timestamps.
• Take inventory, restock supplies, and place orders as directed.
• Enter patient requisitions and verify their accuracy.
• Order lab tests based on submitted requests.
• Receive, sort, and store incoming lab specimens with accuracy.
• Ensure proper labeling, preservation, and documentation of specimens.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of specimen processing, specimen collection, accessioning, specimen handling, inventory, and histology.
• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in data entry and lab support.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Basic data analysis and documentation skills.
• 0-1 year of experience in laboratory science or healthcare industry.
