Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and have a positive can-do attitude are necessities.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must have the ability to operate robotic total stations, electronic data collectors, digital and optical levels, and GPS equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, work in all weather conditions, willing to work evenings/weekends when required, willing to travel for overnight and extended stay projects as required.
• Must have ability to interpret design plans and understand as-built drawings and roadway plans.
• Ability to maintain required certifications.
• Must have ability to create legible field sketches and detailed field notes.
• Must have excellent math skills and be able to perform survey calculations in the field.
• Experience supervising a survey field crew performing control surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, construction stakeout, monitoring and as-built surveys.
• A valid current driver’s license is required.
• Must possess leadership and mentoring skills.
• Highschool Diploma/GED
• Must have the ability to mentor, train, and manage assigned staff in the field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
