Turner Industries is seeking an NDE Technician – Level II for its Houston, TX location. The role involves nondestructive inspection of materials, parts, components, and pressurized systems, interpreting test data, maintaining equipment, and supervising NDE activities according to code. This is a non‑exempt position reporting to the Area Manager and includes developing procedures for complex duties.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, valid NDE certifications, and a TWIC card. They must be able to pass a background check and drug test, and provide documentation of certifications and a resume. Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety compliance, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced turnaround environment are required.
The position requires physical activities such as climbing ladders and scaffolds, lifting 30–50 lb, and operating tools while maintaining balance and coordination. Employees must be able to read and follow oral or written directions, interpret drawings or blueprints, and recognize and report safety hazards. Basic mathematical skills and the ability to work both standing and seated are also needed.
- Valid NDE Level II certifications (VT, UTT, PT, MT) and TWIC card
