Maintain the continuous running of our packaging machines, stop and start the machine, if necessary, and solve any minor technical problems / breakdown.
Guarantee the correct operations of the packaging machinery in compliance with the working instructions and safety guidelines to meet the quotational order and spotting potential hazards and reporting promptly.
Frequently handle the machinery, for example, the packaging machines, the running of the roll pack bundler machine and operating the log saw if required.
Interact with the HMI of the machines, use production supervisor systems to record data and handle the materials.
Co-operate and communicate with colleagues, supervisors and other team members.
Facilitate product change overs including the loading of polyethylene reels
Carry out quality checks and understand quality assurances processes, including inspecting products, recording and reporting details and adhering to standards like BRC.
Maintaining a high level of housekeeping in the working areas throughout the shift and ensuring health and safety in the workplace is always adhered to.

4 day shift pattern (2 days / 2 nights / 4 off) - 6am - 6pm, 6pm - 6am

Be proficient in operating machinery and have knowledge of basic troubleshooting and automated systems.
Sufficient communication and teamwork skills and good time management

A good understanding of quality standards, automated systems and health and safety, HSE and PPE in the workplace is desirable
