Senior FF&E Designer (Hospitality)

Description

• Collaborate closely with the wider design team to ensure seamless integration of FF&E with overall project concepts.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, fostering relationships with international suppliers and sourcing unique, innovative solutions.
• Develop and deliver FF&E concepts, mood boards, and design narratives for prestigious hospitality projects.
• Lead the preparation of FF&E specification books and coordinate with documenters on scheduling and cost control.
• Manage projects independently and support the FF&E Director/Associate on larger-scale projects.
• Review shop drawings, prototypes, and technical submissions to ensure alignment with design intent.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, while upholding and refining company FF&E standards.
• Select and specify FF&E, finishes, hardware, and sanitaryware that meet project vision, budgets, and timelines.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors, presenting design schemes and overseeing delivery.

Requirements

We are seeking a Senior FF&E Designer to join our hospitality team and take the lead on high-profile projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail-driven designer with a passion for luxury interiors and a strong knowledge of global suppliers, materials, and design trends.

• Strong creative design skills with exceptional eye for detail, quality, and storytelling through materials.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office; experience with DotStudio is a plus.
• Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in FF&E design, ideally within the luxury hospitality sector.
