In this role you will perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and commissioning of equipment while mentoring junior technicians. You will take initiative, work independently, and support both customers and the workshop team, ensuring high‑quality workmanship and efficient workflow.
Key tasks include standard maintenance, fault‑finding, pre‑delivery inspections, local modifications, safety bulletins, and component repairs. You will plan tools and parts, coordinate with third‑party vendors, conduct root‑cause analysis, and apply technical knowledge across hydraulics, mechanics, electrics, automation, pneumatics, and materials to resolve issues. Accurate documentation and maintenance reports will be maintained for internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has experience as a workshop or maintenance technician, preferably in mining, heavy equipment, or industrial settings. Strong troubleshooting abilities across hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, a customer‑focused mindset, and demonstrated leadership potential are required. Excellent communication, documentation skills, a commitment to safety, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel are also essential.
