Complete disposition process for materials in timely fashion.
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Collaborate with legal and finance departments to resolve contractual issues and disputes as needed.
Identify potential suppliers through market research, referrals, and networking.
Analyze project blueprints to generate material requirements and quantity.
At the completion of a project, determine the quantity and types of materials needed for potential field service.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders, including tracking shipment status and resolving any issues that may arise.
Coordinate with internal departments to confirm specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers to assess quality, reliability, and service levels.
Develop material stocking schedule based on production run schedule.
Generate purchase orders based on inventory levels, production schedules, and demand forecasts.
Work with vendors to generate material requirements and provide quotes with lead times.
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field or the combination of education and experience to perform the duties of the position.
Light to moderately lifting is required.
Must have reliable transportation and stellar attendance with the ability to work overtime when required to meet project deadlines.
Ability to work in shared space.
Knowledge and experience in purchasing lumber and engineered lumber items.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
Learning agility to master new software
Moderate noise (i.e., business offices with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
Three (3) years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable terms and conditions.

Ability to work on-site during regular business hours of 8-5 M-F
