Manages interior design project plans, schedules, staffing, and deliverables, with guidance and general oversight from Director of Interior Design.
Leads in project design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
Oversees and prepares presentation & documentation redlines for junior staff
Manages small to large scale interior design project scope independently, with minimal oversight from Director of Interior Design.
Project management tasks, including compiling data and organizing files.
Assists with marketing and business development efforts as requested.
Assists, and has opportunities to take the lead, in the preparation interior design proposals.
Assists Director of Interior Design with project and staff scheduling.
Leads preparation of designs and documentation with minimal oversight from Director of Interior Design.
Direct communication with consultants and clients.
Travel as required for meetings and FF&E installs.
Takes a mentorship role with intermediate and junior staff
Guides intermediate and junior staff and participates in the following with minimal oversight from Director of Interior Design. o Production of design presentations for client review at various stages of the project Prepares interior design construction documents o Takings field measurements of existing conditions o Leads interior design portions of construction phase services, including field observation, submittal review, and answering RFIs. o Searching, selecting, and producing FF&E presentations for client review with oversight from Director of Interior Design. o Production of book format furniture specifications, including custom fabrication. o Production of FF&E estimates.
Works with Director of Interior Design to plan and maintain project performance metrics.

Must possess a valid driver’s license
8+ years of experience in relevant design firm environment
NCIDQ certificate preferred, but not required.
Overnight travel as required for project execution
Proven experience designing and documenting new construction and renovation projects.
Strong knowledge of 3D BIM software (ArchiCAD or Revit), SketchUp, Enscape, the Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office
Building codes and guidelines as applicable (ADA, FGI, etc.)
Willingness to travel to project site via air and ground transportation (3-4 consecutive days per month)
4+ years of experience in multifamily interior design
