Description

• Field telephone calls, file documents, and perform data entry and correspondence typing.
• Fill in for the office receptionist as required.
• Conduct various Internet research tasks.
• Prepare Word documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Assist with board meeting preparation, including coordinating information, preparing tabs, distributing materials, and setting up rooms and refreshments.
• Support other administrative staff with overflow work.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and provide mailroom relief as needed.
• Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as appropriate.
• Perform additional data entry and support duties as required.
• Distribute electronic invoices.

Requirements

We are seeking an Administrative Student for our Ottawa District, within our Canadian Buildings Division, that is available for 4 months from May 2026 – August 2026.

• Proficient with computers and intermediate MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organizational ability and effective multitasking.

• Capable of working with limited supervision in a team environment.
• Adaptable and effective in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing business environment.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $19.57 to $28.69, with final compensation confirmed in a personalized offer.
