Description

The specialist will design, implement, and continuously improve training programs that boost employee capability across manufacturing operations, while maintaining comprehensive schedules and delivering onboarding and ongoing learning tailored to diverse audiences. They will conduct organization‑wide needs assessments, partner with leaders and cross‑functional teams to evaluate and enhance training effectiveness, and recruit, coach, and assess new trainers. Additional duties include managing training budgets, researching innovative tools, coordinating internal and external events, marketing opportunities, tracking educational spending, and measuring instructional impact.

We are seeking a Technical Training Specialist to join our manufacturing operations team in West Union, SC, empowering the workforce with skills for safe, efficient, customer‑focused operations.

Candidates need 3–5 years of experience as a Technical Training Specialist in a manufacturing environment, proficiency with TWI methodologies, and strong Lean tool knowledge such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis. They must demonstrate ability to evaluate training needs, design and deliver programs for diverse learners, and possess strong communication, facilitation, and a commitment to authenticity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Psychology, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is acceptable. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, prior experience as a “Train‑the‑Trainer,” and the ability to thrive in fast‑paced, technology‑driven settings are advantageous. The role is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual physical demands.
